Temporary or Permanent Removal of IP from the Service
A registered user may respond to a takedown notice by demonstrating either (a) that the claimant does not own the intellectual property (IP) or (b) that the IP is not being infringed. If the registered user successfully proves either (a) or (b) or (c) (other valid defenses), our Designated Copyright Agent may choose not to remove the IP.

If our Designated Copyright Agent decides to comply with a takedown request, it will do so within a reasonably prompt timeframe.

No Obligation to Adjudicate IP Claims – User’s Agreement to Hold Us Harmless
Claimants and users must understand that we are not an intellectual property adjudicator. Although we and our Designated Copyright Agent may use the provided information to decide how to respond to infringement claims, we are not responsible for determining the validity of such claims. If a user responds to an infringement claim by providing assurances that their content does not infringe, and we subsequently restore or retain the content, the user agrees to defend and indemnify us and our Designated Copyright Agent from any resulting infringement claims.
